Prada Spring Summer 2014: In Your Face

I was actually more drawn to the beautiful murals than the show itself, I am not too sure that is a good thing. So, to me, the pieces that carried some of this work seemed the most interesting. As for the rest, very beautiful and commercial, very Prada with the embellishments and the sporty elements; I can already picture dozens of those pieces and accessories everywhere in the months to come. However, this was not one of those knock-your-socks-off Prada game changers. Sure, no one does it quite like Miuccia, still, the sporty colorblock heel has been done before: of the top of my head I can remember a Ghesquière collection for Balenciaga (I think it was fall 2007) and the embellished rubber flats remind me of the ones Christopher Kane did for SS2012. Hasn't Simons done some face plastering already? Don't get me wrong it's a great collection, I just thought taking cues from the others was more of a Proenza thing.

Anything Prada

Anything Prada. Polyvore set by gramartin.

Why oh why does it have to be this way?
You create all  these beautiful things I will never wear?
The hats, the bags, about the shoes I must say,
to not see them on my feet I cannot bear.

Oh Miuccia how could you go so far?
Bananas, stripes, the colours so bright,
no wonder this spring you're again the star
everything is a must have, a dream, a delight.

One is always warned, your heart might get broken,
not to pursue a love like this, you're always told;
I know I will never have you, but Miuccia has spoken,
and she said to all: "It's time to be bold"

Brogue Report

For spring it's mostly sandals and flats; but, how about brogue  shoes? I don't know if the high heel obsessed venezuelan woman would ever wear these, but if you can pull off (and afford) the Prada brogues, you won't have an issue when it comes to height.
If I could, I would get the red Balenciaga and black Prada right away!

Bright On

Maurizio Pecoraro

Only with a glimpse of a few major shows you can evidence that bright bold colors will definitely  be one of the top trends of the season.  With Paris still to come, I picked a few of my favorite color oriented collections so far.

Excelente oferta.
