DESCOSIDO: Bal de la Rose 2013

Like every year since 1954, the traditional Bal de la Rose took place in Monaco to raise funds for the Princess Grace of Monaco Foundation. This time Karl Lagerfeld honored the personal request of HRH the Princess of Hanover (and president of the foundation) to come up with the theme and concept for this year's event. The "Kaiser" chose to juxtapose two contrasting moods for the evening: a lavish décor inspired by a Belle Epoque ball and a strong pop vibe towards the ending of the night. This edition was dedicated to the Societe des Bains de Mer, a flagship company in Monaco tourism.

Charlotte Casiraghi (wore a Chanel dress from the Spring/Summer 2013 Haute Couture Collection), Pierre Casiraghi, H.R.H Princess of Hanover (wore a long Chanel dress in black crepe from the Fall/Winter 2012/13 Haute-Couture Collection), Charlene and Albert de Monaco.

Karl Lagerfeld also designed costumes for the night's performance, courtesy of the House of CHANEL, and illustrated the invitation and the menu.

- Salle aux étoiles du Sporting, Mónaco, 23 de Marzo

Como cada año desde 1954, Mónaco fue escenario del Baile de la Rosa, un evento de caridad que organiza la Fundación Fundación Princesa Grace de Mónaco. En esta oportunidad Karl Lagerfeld honró la petición personal de Su Alteza Real la Princesa de Hanover (y presidenta de la fundación) para que fuese él quien se encargara de idear y conceptualizar la noche. Con el título La Belle Époque, esta edición estuvo dedicada a la Societé des Bains de Mer, una empresa emblemática en el turismo de Mónaco.

Karl Lagerfeld también diseñó el vestuario de actuación de la noche, cortesía de Chanel, e ilustró la invitación y el menú.
